Wellness Goals for Spring 2012

This semester when it comes to grocery shopping and packing lunch for long days at work and school-I'm going to meal plan! I hope to save money, save time, and eat healthier in the process of it all.  Meal planning is going to be written in my oh so awesome planner.
ACTION STEPS:
  1. Designate an area on the page for each week to write in meals and lists
  2. Find a Youtube/Blogger Raw Foodist that I admire
  3. Start collecting smoothie recipes (Got a new blender, called the BELLA)
  4. Buy a new tumbler for smoothies!
  5.
She freezes her bananas instead of adding ice. Nice!

Note: I'm planning on incorporating more raw foods into my personal diet-but I can't give up warm food! No way! Still inspirational ;)
Here's an article from the Lululemon blog about healthy breakfast ideas: breakfast of champions
Things that have been working when it comes to FOOD:
      • Drink water
      • Avoid soda and other sweet drinks
      • Eat raw fruits and vegetables
      • Only purchase what you plan to eat
When it comes to being physically active, this semester I'm going to invest $50 in a group fitness pass at my school. I'm a little nervous since it'll just be me-but I know it's going to turn into something I look forward to every week!
      ACTION STEPS:
      1. Buy a group fitness pass
      2. Match classes to spring schedule
      3. Upgrade work out wardrobe
Things that have been working when it comes to working out:
      • Time at the track
      • New work out gear
      • A designated work out corner
      • Watching Youtube videos for motivation
Well, that's about all I have for wellness goals. I hope reading my actions steps and watching these videos help to inspire you guys! I love trying out new trends! Mixing it up and trying new things out is a great way to keep things interesting.  Hope all is well in your part of the world! Take care readers!
